Penelope (aka lil P)

Penelope is the queen of the house — no debate. She’s gone full diva and makes it very clear that she runs the show. Most of the time she carries herself like royalty, but every so often she launches into what we call a “cuddle attack,” where she’ll suddenly decide she’s obsessed with you and needs to be as close as physically possible. Her favorite move is sitting on my neck while I’m lying down, which she somehow finds comfortable. She’s obsessed with jingling toys, sitting in plastic bags and cardboard boxes, and — for reasons known only to her — watching us do the dishes like it’s her favorite soap opera. She’s dramatic, adorable, and 100% in charge.

Cody

Cody is a total sweetheart, the kind of cat who just wants to be loved all the time — and also kind of wants to destroy everything. He’s a big-time cuddler and a troublemaker in equal measure. If it’s chewable, he’ll chew it. If there’s attention to be had, he’s right there asking for it. His absolute favorite thing in the world is his ball — he guards it like it’s priceless — and he gets way too into 1940s music for a five-month-old cat. He and Penelope are littermates, adopted from a rescue in Wilmington, NC after being born outside, and now they spend their days chasing each other around the apartment and side-eyeing the neighbor’s barking dogs. Cody’s chaotic, loyal, affectionate, and always ready to make his presence known.
